We currently have an opening for an experienced Timer III.

The Timer III contributes to the fansubbing organization by providing direct timing support via their choice of timing application. To this end, the position has three primary areas of responsibility: (1) complete basic and karaoke timing of Dattebayo's shows as necessary; (2) provide post-timing support to ensure good work flow through the entire process; (3) implement improvements to processes related to timing.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct timing for shows as assigned. The shows to time may vary from week to week or may be assigned based on performance.
2. Provide karaoke timing for shows as necessary. This usually occurs once every three months.
3. Provide karaoke timing corrections if necessary once official lyrics are provided.
4. Scene timing of work (automated tools are acceptable).
5. Design and implement improvements in fansubbing processes as they relate to timing.
6. Train DB associates on timing basics as necessary.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required
- College Degree Preferred
- At least 53 episodes or 1160 timed minutes timing experience with a reputable group (Most fansubbing groups releasing today are considered reputable, contact interactii if you are unsure). Episodes must have been released to count to this requirement. This is a firm requirement.
- Ability to work between 3-6 P.M. Tuesday-Thursday EST (GMT -5), and later as necessary during doubles or karaoke weeks.
- English Speaker
- Japanese Knowledge a plus, especially if JPLT certified.
- 300 kb/s connection to the internets with ability to download files via HTTP or FTP
- Adequate interpersonal skills
- Love for dongs a must

What can Dattebayo offer me?
We offer a direct percentage of our profits to all associates. Timer III is entitled to 4.74% of the profits from the episodes they time. Last year this totaled $0.00 for all episodes timed.
