Have you ever realized that by trolling them, they just go to other websites? Most people don't get the episodes from your website. I don't know what stats you're looking at but I would bet they can match yours easily, if not better. You're pretty fucking stupid, you see? Fucking sheep talking shit thinking you have any amount of intelligence at all. People like you eat me up. Everything you do has an effect on something else. Everything you buy and every word you say. You, like all these other ignorant fucks, are the cause of all of this ignorance. Think about it. I hope the clarity really pisses you off.

I don’t know what stats YOU’RE looking at, but I’m looking at our tracker data. Both our Bleach and Naruto episodes are regularly getting more than half a million downloads. We have been around for more than three years, we’ve been releasing troll episodes that entire time, and our viewership hasn’t stopped growing. Therefore I am forced to assume that trolling “them” doesn’t cause people to go to other websites (most of which get their episodes from us anyway).

No, it would not. An http download server is limited by its max upload. Let's say that we had a server on a connection with a 10mbit/s upload. 10mbit = 1.25 megabytes/s or 1280 kb/s. That's 1280 kb/s divided by ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING TO DOWNLOAD. Let's assume that 2000 people are trying to download the episode at the same time (which is an extremely low estimate), that means each person is downloading at about 0.64kb/s, which, I think you will agree, is not so fast. We could fix this problem by limiting the number of connections to our hypothetical server, but then only a few people would be able to download at a time, which would still be an impossibly slow distribution system.
Conversely, BitTorrent actually gets FASTER when more people download, assuming there's a reasonable number of seeds, which our files always have shortly after they are released.

I'm really starting to get sick of your constance jokes. Whether it be lies about taking down series or things like this weeks shippuden episode, it really is not funny at all. I know you guys think your hilarious but its so constant no body is laughing. So start acting more professional and stop making such immature jokes.

I have been curious of a few things:
1. How old are you guys (oldest, youngest, average age?
2. Where the translators learned Japanese (native speakers, parents born in Japan, learned it in school, from watching too much anime, etc.)?
3. What interested you to doing fansubbing / how did you get into it (especially when you are not profitting from it)?
Maybe you could put out a biography of some (or all) of your members on the site...

3. Speaking for myself, I was dragged into fansubbing kicking and screaming by my good friend interactii. The others all have their own tragic stories.
It’s not an accident we don’t have biographies on the web site, especially considering the regular death threats we receive.
It’s a shame that you aren’t looking to date any of us… quite a few of us are single… >_>

It’s good to see that you didn’t let your fear stop you from asking your question. There are many questions that won’t get you “bannded”. I recommend first reading the FAQ and howto section. If your questions aren’t answered there, you should go to the contact page and read the instructions carefully. If your question isn’t forbidden, then you should feel free to ask it via the contact form. You might even get a reply, most likely from me.

Subject: Kakashi Gaiden
im just curious as to whether you guys know where i can find episodes for Kakashi Gaiden? if you guys know where i can find episodes for it please let me know thank you.

There are two possibilities here. One is that the Kakashi Gaiden was animated, and despite the fact that we have subbed every other Naruto episode for the last 3+ years, as well as the three Naruto movies that have come out on DVD, that we have, inexplicably, chosen not to sub the Kakashi Gaiden. The other possibility is that the Kakishi Gaiden was never animated. Which one makes more sense to you?

I would like to know if this is legal.
Is it legal for me to seed torrents from this page?

I hate to break this to you, but it is never legal to download or distribute copyrighted material without the permission of the copyright holder. This means it is illegal to download anime, whether or not it is licensed. The only thing that licensing changes is the probability that someone will be prosecuted. It is wishful thinking to pretend that it is “allowed” under any circumstances. That being said, unless you live in Singapore, you are unlikely to get into trouble for downloading or seeding the anime we sub.
