DB Staff Opening In Tokyo Region

Dattebayo Fansubs, LLC is seeking one person in the Tokyo region who has access to off-air digital television and B-Flets or equivalent internet service with minimum 30Mbps uplink to expand our backup infrastructure as part of our continual quality improvement program. Only people in the Tokyo region are invited to apply. Do not apply if you will be in the region for less than 1 year, or do not have access to off-air UHF signals (for example, no CATV please).
This staff position requires minimal work beyond initial setup. You either need to speak Japanese or English to apply for this position, but you do not have to speak both. Appropriate candidates will be provided equipment for the position. This equipment is leased, and must be returned upon request or in case of contract termination. The equipment is remotely operated by Dattebayo staff, will use a moderate amount of power (~300W) and will be turned on and connected to the internet via a separate provider session 24 hours a day. Noise level is minimal. If you choose to apply for this position and accept this offer, understand that you will be violating international copyright law. This position will be credited as "Digital Capture Technician". The equipment provided will allow Dattebayo to digitally record various television programs, and permit us to obtain subtitle data from digital closed captions.
