Dattebayo 5th Anniversary Art Contest

Hi, y’all. You may remember a few months ago, we asked you guys to send us Christmas cards. One of the things that impressed and amused us most about some of the cards we received were the drawings a few of you included. Who knew that you guys were so talented? So in honor of our 5th anniversary subbing, we’ve decided to hold a contest. Here’s the basic idea: You send us a drawing of some kind, preferably anime-related. We collect the entries and judge them. The top five entries as determined by our completely subjective opinions will earn some sort of prize, most likely a collection of DB logo stuff from our store, and will be posted on our site for all to admire.

We are only accepting entries by snail mail, not electronically, so don’t ask. Entries must be received by August 31, 2009 to be considered for judging. Please include a valid return address, since we need a place to send your prize(s) if you win. Including a working email address might be a good idea too, in case we need to ask you a question about your entry. Remember, by submitting your art to us you are giving us permission to post your artwork on our site for purposes of adulation or humiliation. Finally, we won't be returning your artwork to you, so be sure to kiss it goodbye before you send it on its way.
